Variety: 100% Merlot.
Production: Produced using hand-picked Merlot grapes harvested when they have reached the point of optimal ripeness. The wine is made through fermentation at a controlled temperature of 26-27ºC with daily remontage (pumping over) and pigeage (grape stomping) during the initial stages of the fermentation. After macerating for 15 days, the wine is transferred to two and three-year-old French and Hungarian oak barrels to be aged for three months.
Tasting notes: Picota cherry red with violet reflections; bright and clear. Intense red fruit aromas with a subtle background of spice. Broad and rounded on the palate with a pleasant aftertaste.
Pairing: Red meats, stews, pasta, mushrooms, mature cheese.
